why am I having IRQ problems ?
Trying to install a WD4000YR sata hard drive on my machine and when I plug it in the computer will boot up until windows but will not boot windows from my other sata drive.
I have turned off the auto IRQ allocation in bios
but I still can not get it to work.
I disconnect this drive and the computer boots fine. As you can see from my history I am very computer savy but this one has me stumped.

Have you tried setting up the raid utility on you mobo, this sound like the problem
