Comments On Cuba?

Question

We have had a base there forever. Why didn't the US  Government overthrow the socialist regime when it went in. My mom and dad went to Cuba on their honeymoon in 1947 and loved it. It is known as the "black pearl of the carribean". You can take a flights from other countries to Havana everyday. The sanctions against cuba started by a "democrat" run congress. Why didn't we overthrow Fidel in 1959 before the cancer spread and he became famous as a tyrant? Another democrat run flop.

oh ya, Cuba is a beautiful Island~!!!

the scuba divin in those deep blue waters is amazing, and the rock formations along the beaches and the stars at night, seems like you can reach right up and pluck one out of the sky~!!!

its kinda spooky when your flyin in from Peurto Rico and your readin the "Bermuda Triangle" and you notice your right smack in the middle of it~!!!

its a great place, i would like to go back soon, and hope they finally growup and open up the whole Island to everyone~!!!

its time for a change, they are absolutlely no threat to us, and we have been trading and dealing with countries that have been abusing human rights and have been more communist then Cuba ever has~!!!!

of course thats just my opinion~!!!

We do not have the right to overthrow governments of sovereign nations.

The embargo came out of Cuba wanting to allow Russia to place missiles in Cuba.

Guantanamo is in Cuba.

I don't see any reason to continue an embargo against cuba. We're friends with Russia now. And we don't have an embargo against China, the other major communist society

The beaches are great, some of the best scuba diving ever, I love the cigars, people are educated  and the night life is kickin.
