I removed my sim card and inserted it into to my sidekick and now they are gone

If your numbers are saved onto your sim card, go into your address book, click the menu button, scroll down to settings, and scroll to import sim contacts.
Otherwise, your numbers are still on your old phone. To get your numbers from your old phone to the sim:
put sim card into old phone and power on.
go to your phonebook
press the center menu/option button (looks like three horizontal lines) and then go to copy
select all to sim and then select "merge" (it's important that you select merge because the other option deletes everything that was there!)
confirm that it's okay to merge, and voila, you're done!
