What type of bottle does your breastfeeding baby like??

My son is 3 months, I've tried a few different bottles with no luck...he always fights it and will just take an ounce and then cry for the breast. What kid of bottle works good for you baby??

while im at work my husband gives him the platex vent air wide ones.

he much rather prefers the boobies, but when im not around this works just fine.

try different types and sized nipples.

i started giving him a bottle occasionally when he was 2 weeks, since i iknew id have to return to work

I started my baby on the bottle at 2 weeks. Usually just 2-3 feedings a week. We use medela slow flow nipples to make her work for it so she doesn't stop liking breastfeeding. Works good for us.

The Adiri natural nurser is great. The nipple is integrated into the bottle and it is very soft, feeling more like the real thing. They are a little pricey but they are BPA and pthalate free and my baby loves them.

Both of my sons would ONLY drink out of Avent because of the wide nipple base. There are a few others out there with wide nipple bases as well, but I just never tried them because after #1 we had a stockpile of Avents because I ended up weaning early :-(

Mine will only take NUK....the ones with the wide nipple. He will also only take the NUK pacifier. If you use a pacifier, the NUK pacifier and bottle nipple are very similar. I believe they are a little more expensive, but worth it to me. Currently he's only getting about one bottle a week so that he does not lose his skills when I go back to work.

the bottle my daughter liked was the breastflow by just one year. It is suppose to be close like breastfeeding. The other was playtex silicone drop ins.

Avent Naturally, but even then he'd go on "bottle strikes" every so often. In fact, he still does.

Avent... but it took awhile for him to adjust, he preferred to nurse!
