Do you think its because people have already learned the truth behind something, through experience or education. Like alesson already learned in all possible angles. We all know one plus one is two but some people have been influenced to say one plus one is possibly millions because they take a simple equation out of context. They may say one man plus one woman equals potentially millions because of procreation. An openminded person can see this person believes so because of some religious philosophy based on a scientific fact. But it is taken out of context . We all have experienced one plus one is simply two so we close our minds to any other variation because we could have all kinds of trouble in life to think otherwise. We realize alot of people are easily impressed or influenced by a new teaching or viewpoint and change who they are every minute. but to be sane and functional or just fair to allow a person to explore, learn , grow and try out different philosophies we stay closed

Some people don't want to expand their horizons.
Once you know something that is true then you can't go back to when you didn't know. Ignorance is bliss--knowledge is enlightenment.

It's not because people have learned the truth . It's because everyone THINKS they know the truth .
There seem to be many logical paths to a happy life . But we have all pretty much learned one way and we become complacent and don't want to change . We don't want to let new thoughts in . That would make us uncomfortable .That would make us have to rethink our positions . and people do not want to do that . soo... We become close minded and hide within the comfort of what we know , never letting in the unknown , which we fear!!!
Sometimes I do go on !! lmao

I feel that people are so wrapped up in themselves they have become insensitive to the natural order of the world....as far as I live by nature and "karma" nature is karma most people do not even embrace nature let alone embrace anything but themselves....reading history we have come along way with things we really shouldn't have in the world and looking back you see how great scholars lived outside the box..our world is way to structured to feed the human mind with all of it's abilities........The mind is a wonderful thing.....
