Do you agree we are just lumps of flesh?

Some people believe there is no God. If there is no God, our bodies are not sacred. Did you know the government of the Netherlands has recently instituted euthanasia for babies born with disabilities/deformities? Not pre-birth abortion but killing them after birth. They justify this by saying their quality of life will be so poor their life won't be worth living.

Do you agree with the killing of newborns with disabilities? If you do, what's the difference between disabled newborns and older children/adults with disabilities except age?

If you agree with the killing of people with disabilities, which disabilities determine a person should be killed? Is dyslexia a disability?

What about IQ? Should people of lower IQ be killed? Where's the line drawn? 100? 80? Maybe 120?

What about eye colour or ethnic background? After all, don't we want the best to live? Who says what's best?

"Did you know the government of the Netherlands has recently instituted euthanasia for babies born with disabilities/deformities?"

No, I did not know that, mainly because it's not true. Please do not slander us. I know it comes naturally, but try to restrain your lying tongue.

Our bodies are perhaps not sacred, but everybody wants to live and be happy. By inclusion, we are capable of understanding other people also want to live and be happy.

Euthanasia is a serious subject. It should not be muddied with lies - even very old and venerable lies, like religion.

This is known as Eugenics, which was practiced here in America for a couple of decades prior to the start of WWII, when Hitler began using the same tactics to exterminate Jews and build the Aryan race...

Because you have no sources, I will doubt your claims until I read about it myself.

That being said, I do not believe in God. There is no need for bodies to be sacred... And, I suppose that if I were born without a face or some other horrible abnormality, I would want to be exterminated.

You are making a lot of assumptions. I don't understand how exactly you go from "belief that there is no god" to "belief that deformed babies should be killed"

You are messed up. It sounds like your religion is the only reason you don't go around killing babies and people with IQ<100, so for the good of all of us you might want to play it safe and stick with it.

You are drawing the line at "killing" due to poor quality of life or deformity or disability. Don't we here in the USA restrict people of disability from entering buildings by putting barriers in their way? Steps, curbs etc. NO elevators. Don't we restrict who can get into certain schools and colleges and jobs thru economic discrimination? Don't we limit who can get into certain organizations due to different beliefs - Boy Scouts for example won't let gays or atheists in. Its not simply killing that devides and discriminates against people. And many of these discriminations are SUPPORTED by religion and belief in god.

    1) Infant euthanasia in Holland requires that the infant be terminally ill and in the same sort of condition that would lead an adult to request an end. I begin to question the rest of your post when these facts are misrepresented.

    2) 100 will always be the average IQ

Yes, we are lumps of flesh. Nothing sacred about us. That doesn't preclude human rights, though. Being intelligent, rational creatures, we can all agree and enforce a code of rights without requiring a supernatural entity, can't we? In fact, we've been doing so for thousands of years.

Your claim about the Netherlands is highly suspect, but I'll research it and return.

I dont care about IQ, but i feel that people with severe deformities should not be allowed to live. Because no one gains from their suffering. I am a Christian, and I am prolife. But i also hold that we must do our best to alleviate suffering.

All we are is dust in the wind my friend.

That's too bad if that is true. I think it is more likely they gave parents the possibility in extreme cases if they chose to take that option to give their child a quick, painless end, instead of living life horribly disabled and in pain.

You are a spiritual being who own or controls a lump of flesh ( your body).

As far as death for being stupid is concerned I think anyone with an I Q below 140 should be offed.

This would leave me alive of course but get rid of a lot of dummies.

No one should be killed (unless u are a rapist/pedo) but if you were disabled life could suck for you.
