What have you heard, what do know, and what do you think about the talk of James possibly going to the Nets in 2010 and Jay_Z's involvement in making that happen?..

LeBron James will be playing for the Nets in 2010. Then in 2011 he will be playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

I have figured that he would leave in 2010 when his contract was up since Cleveland is just dumb enough not to offer him the money it will take to keep him but I had never made that Jay-Z to Brooklyn Nets connection until I read this article:

It makes perfect sense. Wally, Ben, and the rest that came in this trade put the Cavs way over the cap and that's for a few more years. When 2010 comes they won't have the money to pay him and the Nets will be right in the perfect position to make a huge move for him. They will need a big play maker too. Plus, his marketability is huge and in New York it will be insane. No chance the Cavs hold on. 2010 Lebron becomes a New Yorker.

Cavs fans should be very worried.
Getting James into the NY/NJ metropolitan area would be a huge marketing move, and translate to more money for both.
Some speculate that the Nets are all too happy to shed cap room over this and next season to make room for a new king.

In 2010 his contract is up its up to Cleveland to make moves now (which they are trying) to gather James' interest. James has made it clear that his some of his interests extend farther than basketball, which is smart because noone plays forever. It used to be that players were encouraged to get their degree to be able to live once their basketball careers were over. However with the blossoming of charismatic players like Barkley, its now commonplace for atheltes to dive into the entertainment world.
In my opinion he is just doing this, making ties for when basketball is done. I honestly don't see him leaving Cleveland as its his hometown etc.

I don't think that Lebron will go to the Nets. I just don't think that the Nets will have enough money to pay the superstar, especially if they keep Vince Carter.

he should go to Nets, dump jay-z as friend and get Nas, that way they would be the REAL 2kings of NY and the nets should be moved to Queens!
Im just saying: everything is possible...let us wait

by then phoenix would also have the cap space available to sign james, and im betting there will be couple other teams with cap space trying to sign him. betting he goes to a team with a good chance of winning the ring. hope he stays in the east, unless he wants to come to dallas.
