Getting called "Racist"?

I just read an answer to a question that stated, "I'm voteing for obama because I dont wanna be call racist." This is terrible. Nobody should call anybody racist if they don't support obama. Coming from a teenagers view, I can bet money on this issue that it takes place in high schools around the country. First time voters are who are in high school shouldn't worry about this and should vote because of what the candidate represents. This is just another form of peer presure.

It seems that word 'racism' is all over this election. It is sad that people today have to make everything about race. What happened to 'all are equal'. Have people gone away from that and want things to be based on race? I do not make my decision on whom I am going to vote for based on their race or sex. Anyone who would do so is the racist.

Actually, that person is being racist. Racism is a lot simpler and subtle than most people realize. It is simply recognizing and pointing out that races are different, it doesn't have to be for evil, it can be for good too, and it's still racist.

I agree. Vote for who you think will screw us all the least. That's what I say. Lesser of two evils and all that.

Although I feel Obama is great, he's still a politician and they all have a greater agenda at hand.

You are not suppost to tell anyone who you are voting for now a day people don't care. Voting is a private manner.

The racist card has been overused.

Vote for who you want and if someone calls you a Racist then laugh, wink and walk away.

It never fails to tick them off

  • Thats why most people in this country should not be allowed to vote, they are too stupid.
