packers fans if we drafted erik ainge from tennessee..if that would be good or bad draft ?

i look at his stats in tennessee not to be bad ranks in alot of things behind manning on school records also and look at his negatives and positives want thoughts from other packers fans out there

Update:

reason why i ask this question i have some some doubts about rodgers grant it he played good in the cowboys game i just hope they might want to look for a qb that can stable and durable over the long haul ...... and look at how many qb's the packs went through from bart starr to bret favre because they eitheir they were overated or just plain suck or had a shitty offense line ....the two qb's was descent was majkowski and lynn dickey but crappy offense line

stats in the 1970-1980 packs 62 wins 92 losses 3 ties only one year in playoffs 1972 with a 10-4 record

stats in 1981-1991 70 wins 96 losses 1 tie one year in playoffs 1983 with a 5-3 record of the year of the strike

so combined record is 132 wins 188 losses 4 ties when the packs suck they really suck but i look at how many times lynn dickey got to sacked in 1983 40 times he got sacked so it tells me the offense line sucked i would just hate to see the packs go through 20 years of crappy season again !!!!!!

We might not know too much but obviously our front office does,Therefor I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how Rogers does when he eventually does fill Bretts rather large shoes. Why waste a draft pick on a QB. We need to find some more offense in a RB or TE.

  • erik ainge is a good quarterback, but that's not really what we need right now. we already have aaron rodgers ready and waiting for his name to be called up. rodgers has been learning from only the greatest quarterback ever (brett favre), so i think that when it's his time to take over, he will be ready and prepared to lead the packers into battle. we already got a little taste of what rodgers can do, when he had to step in for brett in the game against the cowboys. he played exceptionally well against one of the better teams in the NFL.

i think the packers priority in the draft will be at defense 1st. the offense is pretty well set already and they could use a little more talent on D. getting another cornerback to back up woodson and harris is what i'm hearing.

    GO PACKERS!!

to irishsnake: ok, u beat us, good for u. hey, did the bears make it to the playoffs? YEAH, THATS WHAT I THOUGHT.

talk trash when your team is good, not when they finished last in the division behind the lions. AHAHAHAHAHAHA

    !GO PACKERS!

Why would you waste the pick? God only knows how many years Favre will want to play. Not only that, but Rodgers is still on the bench. I'm not sure how long is still left on his contract though. The only way GB should take Ainge is on day 2, if at all cause there are better QBs in this draft.

you packer fans dont know schit. you have aaron rodgers who played well in the dallas game when fagerve got injured. rodgers probaly got the best teacher he could get with bret. I hate the packers for having such good qbs. But we still kicked your arses.

    GO BEARS!

the SEC is a weak conference and with low academic standards... so his stats aren't really useful unless you look at them in that context.
