Jogging strollers?

I have a few questions about jogging strollers. First, do they make any that accomodate a newborn and can change to accomodate a bigger baby? I wouldn't jog with my newborn, but take him out for trail walks. Second, could I use it for non-trail stuff? Like going to the mall or to the zoo? Lastly, if you have a jog stroller or know someone who does that does what I need it to do (multi-aged baby and all-terrain) what brand would you suggest? Thank you!!!

Oh my gosh! I am so glad that I found your question!! I bought THE BEST jogging stroller made. I REALLY researched too!! My stroller has so many pros--the best being that it is the only j.stroller that allows you to easily reverse the baby seat around so that the infant is facing you. (this is the thing that made me HAVE to have it...my daughter faced me until she was about 10 months..and I could see her beautiful face as we walked!! it can also accomodate my snug ride baby seat) It can be used up to 75 lbs I think (don't quote me on that exactly though) It is soooo nice--it comes with the boot cover (sleeping bag thing for winter), rain cover, UV blocker, air pump etc. It is great on really bumpy paths and sidewalks (ZOO). It is like the Mercedes of jogging strollers! I also refer to it as an SUV becasue it is so all-terrain-ish.

It is called the Zooper Boogie. I bought mine at a local shop but if you google it you will see that you can get them every where (even Babies R Us)--some places even have free shipping. They come in really great colors too--mine is black and aqua...really nice!!

I have convinced 3 other Friends to join to Zooper "troop" and they all love them too. One friend actually found hers almost brand new on Craigs List!!)

NOW--if you read people reviews on them they will complain about the weight and bulk of them. they are not the type of stroller you are going to want to throw in your car everytime you run to the mall or Target (I bought an everyday stroller for that use) but I am telling you the pros far out weigh this con.

I hope that you get one and love it as much as I do! Other than my video monitor---it is the next most expensive thing I got as a gift---but it is HANDS DOWN the best and most useful thing ever!

I'm not up to date on the jogging strollers, but i know some will accommodate a newborn, but you can put the baby carrier on the stroller, and it will lock on.

You can use it for non trail outings, but a jogger is big and bulky. Usually the one that you can run with, it has a stationary wheel.. and it would make it hard to maneuver around a mall. A zoo would be OK, if you are only outside, and not going into exhibits. I do think they make a jogger with a wheel that will be stationary, and one that will move around so you can get around corners and tight places.

I love the stroller i have. Just be aware, make sure you look into the stroller to make sure you can jog with it (if you get one with a non stationary wheel, even if it locks into place)

You cannot flip corners tightly with strolling strollers, consequently, you can in general want a consistent journey process besides. Spend your cash on a fairly well strolling stroller and a separate journey process. I have a graco journey process and like it. Their seat is going as much as 30 kilos, instead than the others that best pass to twenty kilos. As good, the Schwinn strolling stroller is fairly well.
