The xbox 360 arcade version is pretty much the core system. It has no High Def cables (u can buy them and use them) and does not come with the harddrive (u can buy that aswell) u cannot play regular xbox games nor save music or any downloads from xbox live market place. u can still play online and play xbox 360 games tho

The arcade version is simply a core version with some pretty bonus features. it comes with some arcade games & a wireless controler but no hard drive which makes it pretty weak. It is the budjet verson and if you plan on downloading stuff of xb live dont get arcade cause it has no hard drive. you can still play xbox 360 games on it but storage space is limited. I would go with the premium or elete?

I work for xbox 360... there are a few options to go with

"xbox core"- which is a console that does not come with a Hard Drive so in order to store any data you would have to either purchase one seperately or go with a memory stick. It's cheaper than the rest though.

"xbox arcade"- which is a console that is made for arcade gamers mainly, a plus is that it comes with a HDMI port and includes HD AV cables

"xbox pro"- if you purchase one of the newer consoles, it will include a 20Gig Hard Drive, HDMI port, HD AV cables, it has all of the best features.

"xbox elite"- this is my personal favorite, it is exactly like the pro system except it comes with a 120Gig HDD so you never have to worry about storage space, oh and it looks great. All black "very nice" this one is my favorite.
