I'm sure it won't get me any points, but mixing apples and oranges may make a great fruit salad, but MacOS X is a much better, and more stable operating system.
I haven't ever don it, but I understand that it can be done using Boot Camp, and setting up a partition in the hard drive.

Just about all of them are. The only thing is how you want to install XP on the MacBook. You can use something like BootCamp, which creates a partition (separates a piece of the hard drive and dedicates it to Windows) and lets you choose if you want to boot to Windows XP or the Mac OS. The second option is a program such as Parallels which lets you simultaneously run XP inside of the regular Mac OS in a separate window.
