Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Should Yahoo Answers remove the limits of answers and questions ask per day?

I know this will differ for each level, but should Yahoo Answers do that? Is there a point in doing so? In my opinion, I think that part is pointless, why are we limited to share our knowledge and gain some in return?

If I get enough votes, I'll send this to yahoo answers. Please star this question, so everyone will get to answer this and get their opinions credited.

Update:

Yes, I know that the levels are to make us want to participate more, but there are limits for how many questions you are allowed to ask and limits to the number of questions allowed for you to answer. Don't you think that limits the users?

No, for it impels you to work hard to get to whatever level you crave.

    That's marketing

I agree with you completely. When I first joined I didn't know I had a limit and someone asked a very important question about taking a certain medication while breastfeeding (which I researched it and it was a very unsafe thing to do) and because of the limit I couldn't answer and tell her to stop and others were telling her it was fine. So it did in fact prevent me from sharing helpful knowledge. I don't think that the limitations are necessary at all.

This question has been asked many, many times. I don't support any effort to remove the limits. The limits are there for good reasons which I won't go into here since you didn't ask.

No, no, no! This is to make you participate more in Yahoo! Answers by raising your level and change the limit.

I like it the way it is, it allows for learning the site when new and as you learn the site you become even more involved the things that are going on.
