No. The only righteousness in me is Christ Jesus.

Edit: I'll be honest. I've been self-righteous and that is a sin. I've been forgiven for it and I know not to practice self-righteousness.

Baby Christians will fall into this category if they are not careful.

No! do you know how many times I mess up even in a single day! To say that I am righteous would be a huge lie. The only person I know that is actually righteous is Jesus... He is the spotless lamb of God.

I lead a small group and a study I developed is called REAL Men RoCK. In that study the R stands for Righteous. We in ourselves cannot be righteous but as a follower of Jesus we take on His righteousness.

REAL Men Cannot be Righteous, Encouraging, Accountable or Loving unless they have Christ's Kindness as their hope.

I am not righteous but through Jesus and the Holy Spirit living in me I become righteous.

The word "righteous" seems rather pompous when applied to oneself. I just muddle along and try to do the right things on a daily basis and follow the Golden Rule of treating others as I would like to be treated by them.

No. The only person I know for sure was ever truly, really righteous is Jesus. And when I compare myself to Him, well... suffice it to say I don't even come close.

I'm highly suspect of people who present themselves as righteous. More often than not, they're SELF-righteous, but not righteous.

But for me, the point isn't to become as righteous as Jesus. The point is to try. So I'm still trying, day by day. :)

No, but then I don't consider being 'righteous' a good thing.

I walk my own spiritual path. I do not believe in nor condone modern day organized religion.

Does this make me righteous? Doubtful. Just confident that I'm doing the best I can.

I do not consider my self righteous. There is a lot laking in me.
