Im starting a cookie business for a school project. can anyone helpo me out with any advise or anything?

First of all, you will need to keep track of everything you spend, all your costs. Make sure your price pays those costs and gives you some profit over the top.

As far as advertising, word of mouth goes a long way. I would ask your parent (s) to talk to their friends and/or work colleagues. Get some pre-orders in.

Don't try to do too many. Stick to maybe 3 or 4 varieties. Try to find a niche, something different to set your cookies apart from all the rest. For instance, one of the granola bar companies has just introduced a cherry chocolate one, and I dont like granola bars but that one is excellent!

Not to say go overboard on extravagant flavors but maybe add a flavoring to a chocolate chip cookie and see how it comes out. Orange maybe, or mint. Experiment. Maybe with peanut butter cookies, make some with smooth and some with chunky peanut butter.

You could also ask a local grocery store if you could set up outside for a coupel of hours, or ask your church if you could bring some in to let people sample.
