Now with Anderson Silva dominating Hendo who can even challenge him now?

I dont see anyone beating him let alone challenging him at all for a long time,I believe he's the best fighter in all of MMA and no doubt the best pure striker alive who just happens to own a BJJ black belt from Minitauro.

So where does the rest of the Middleweight division stand now, they have to go through The Spider if they want the belt which I dont see changing waist's for a long time, yeah Okami has a win over him but only because Anderson was DQed and we know that Anderson is probably the smartest fighter alive so he wont make that mistake again, you cant clinch with him, stand with him,do anything to him on the ground, your best bet is to take a bat into the cage with you IF you even want a chance,He's the best... period

It's a tough call. I was stunned when Silva dominated Franklin in their 2nd fght, and even more suprised when he made short work of Henderson. I had Henderson winning the 1st rd., and he really left his neck exposed for that rear naked choke. That said II'd be ok seeing the two square off again some time in the near future. I think that you might see Yushin Okami get a shot at Silva in the near future he's looked good in recent fights and was the last guy to beat Silva (albeit by DQ). I believe that Michael Bisping is dropping down to Middleweight and he may be a possible opponent in the future.

Regardless of who he faces next Silva has to be the heavy favorite at this point. He has been absolutely dominant since coming to UFC. Franklin 2x, Lutter, Marquardt, Henderson, he's got a victory over 3 of the top 10 Middle Weights in the world today all in less than a 12 month time frame. Okami is tough as nails and should give Silva a good fight, but I'm not sure that he has what it takes to dethrone him. I would honestly say the guy who has the best shot is stil Dan Henderson, but any rematch wouldn't be for a while, and until Henderson gets a win or two under his belt.

2 possibilites right now (realistically given their fighter pool)

    1. Wanderlei drops down from 205 and it's an absolute slugfest.

    2. GSP moves up to 185

Other than that, Okami might last a couple rounds before getting KTFO, and Marquardt/Hendo could put up decent rematches but the cupboard's pretty bare at this point

That was for me his most impressive win. Hendo is a tough, tough dude who went 5 rounds at LHW with Rampage. And Silva hurt him bad in the second to finish him. Lindland is another good prospect but his chin is suspect and with Dan getting hurt, Lindland also will sooner or later get caught.

Right now I think unless Wandy decides to drop down from 205 which he said he might, can't really see anyone challenging him at middleweight.

I think Silva might get bored in the Middleweight Division and move up to the Light Heavyweight division in the future. He'll have some challenge in that weight class.

I agree 100%. He owns the middleweight division with no one in sight to touch him. Im sure his next fight will be against Okami again and this time Silva will finish him. But honestly, theres just no one in this division thats able to step up to Spider.

it may take someone stepping down from light heavyweight to middleweight to truly give him a challenge, but it would have to be a good light heavyweight doing it.

IMHO, St.Pier is the only fighter who can challenge Silva.
