I need exercises for the legs, I have pain when I bend them. I cannot run and its too cold to walk.?

    Lay on your back in bed and put your legs in the air and do

    some bicycle motions with them. Yes, it will hurt but as time goes on it will also strengthen them. Also if you can get on the floor and push each leg against the wall, that also will tighten up those muscles. Take a child on your lap and rock them. Again that will strengthen your legs. If you don't you eventually not have good use of the legs in walking at all.

    Pilate's. I have RA and found Pilate's a God Send because you are using your own body and nothing else. Best of Luck

    gentle lifting exercises ... you know like the ones where you can lie on your bedroom floor and do and... step ups? star jumps? you know the kind of thing...
