Are there mosquitos at the Red Sea in Egypt?

I'm wondering about Madinat Coraya that's right next to the sea in the middle of the desert. There weren't any in January. Will it change as it gets warmer?

Update:

Well, Sharm el-Sheikh is a lot bigger, so maybe it's more likely to have mosquitos there...

    No.

mosquitos are found in agricultural areas .

the Red Sea consists of sea and sand .

so, mosquitos dont find what they want there .

I hate to disagree but there are. i came home with 40 bites, and my friend had 80.

We were in Sharm, they come out at night. If it wasn't mossies, then i don't know what could have bitten us like that.
