my brother was charged with a criminal offence, burglary, his case got dismissed. is there any possible way it

could be re-opened? they dismissed because the was no evidence.

    If it got dismissed without prejudice, that means the DA has the option to re-file it if he gets additional evidence. With prejudice means he can't pursue it again.

    Normally they have so much work to do they wouldn't bother with a burglary charge trying to do it twice.
