Nope. I am art Irish, and my mom always makes corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's day. I don't like cabbage or corned beef. But, I will be wearing green that day and drink a few Guinness!

No way, I'm a vegetarian. Maybe some cabbage, but corned beef would be wrong.

I really like corn beef on rye with cheese. I like raw cabbage but not cooked:)

  • It's bacon and cabbage in Ireland you know. It's only corn beef and cabbage in the states.

It always confused me when I arrived here and people kept saying it to me.

However, to answer your question, no I won't be. (either bacon or corn beef)

NOPE! My husband is Irish, but we don't eat beef (or pork or lamb or fowl for that matter). We will be having fish. Possibly a fish stew or a fish casserole. Or maybe we'll have what we usually do - poached salmon with Irish butter sauce. YUM. Oh and colcannon or champ of course!
