Is this Fantasy Baseball trade fair? If not, which Team is getting ripped off?

Team A players:

Takashi Saito, David Wright, Carlos Zambrano, Jake Peavy, Rafael Furcal

for

Team B players:

Joe Nathan, Aramis Ramirez, John Smoltz, Andy Pettite, Michael Young

Your assistance in settling this dispute would be GREATLY appreciated!

Update:

Take out Pettite and Zambrano

Well, THIS IS HOW I SEE IT:

It's not THAT BAD of a trade, and I don't see how it's a TOTAL RIP OFF for Team A:

If you look at it as hitter to hitter, Pitcher to pitcher it does not seem to be so bad of a deal, in my opinion:

    D. Wright > A. Ramirez ( I agree with that )

    R. Furcal < M. Young

    Jake Peavy > J. Smoltz

    Takashi Saito < Joe Nathan

    D. Wright + R. Furcal < A. Ramirez and M. Young

The way I see it is that, M. Young is seen as an all-around player and is considered to be a high-quality short-stop in many leagues. Rafael Furcal has not been too great as of late and is deff. not very close to being as great as Michael Young has constantly been for the past years. David Wright is deff. much better than Aramis Ramirez, but over the past few years Aramis has been hitting not too badly and although Wright is better, I don't see him as "2" Aramis Ramirez's.

    J. Peavy + T. Saito > J. Smoltz + Joe Nathan

    J. Peavy Deff!. has the advantage over Smoltz, and although Peavy can give you awesome numbers along with a great season, Smoltz can give you a pretty darn decent year as well. Although Smoltz has great hitters for him in Atl. compared to almost nobody in SD behind Peavy, There is NO DOUBT in my mind that almost ANYBODY in Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball would rather have Jake Peavy than John Smoltz, BUT I AM ALSO ALMOST positive that many of you would rather have Joe Nathan, an amazing closer throughout all his years in the closer role, rather than Takashi Saito....

The trade seems to even out for me, the Pettite Zambrano thing wasn't even close, that's why it was an agreeably horrible trade in the beginning....but I like it.

If your Team A, do NOT make that trade, you'd be getting ripped off big time. Saito is a very promising pitcher this year, still young entering his prime and I believe he'll do some amazing things this year. David Wright, very solid all around, never a let down and a fantasy dream, zambrano one of the best in the league as long as he stays healthy, peavy who had a career season last year will bring great numbers this year i believe, and furcal wouldny be great but he'd be a nice back up if your really in need of a middle-infielder. You never know, he can always still catch fire as he did a few times last year. Pettite will be a bust, smoltz is old and just washed up and out of his prime, young and nathan would be good, and aramis ramirez is still good, but overall, If your team A do not make that trade

Team A is getting ripped. Giving up 2 of the best pitchers in the NL, Top 10 in the majors is stupid. Zambrano and Peavy are both 18 wins guys with low ERA's & 150+ strikeouts a year each easily. Wright is a stud who will also put up big numbers too and for what? Michael Young? Joe Nathan maybe 35 saves, Ramirez is spotty still a 30 HR guy, Smoltz and Petite are past their prime so all you have left is Michael Youngs 200 + hits per year....Team A is for sure getting ripped on this one

So this is how it stacks up for me

    David Wright = Aramis Ramirez x 2

Jake Peavy CY YOUNG = John Smoltz x 11

    Michael Young = Rafael Furcal x 1.1

Team A would have to be the stupidest player I've ever seen to take this deal.

This isn't even a question. Team A is getting screwed. Team A is giving up 40+ saves, 18+ wins and 200+ K's, a legit HOF in Wright, and Furcal for Less Saves, older players, declining pitching, and old Young. this does not make sense. Unless you are looking at it from the point of Team B, then this trade is just dumb.

Team A is getting ripped off. Wright and peavy are two of the best players. Team B is giving up nobody that good.

I say you're getting ripped off. Joe Mauer is a huge harm danger. Mark Teixiera is large yet no longer Albert Pujols large, Troy is the perfect delusion SS and Matt Kemp is overvalued. on your ingredient Franklin is in all probability going to be greater advantageous because of the fact he's finally been clinically determined with a slow digestive tract meaning he's familiar with to no longer pig out and consume particular meals now in the different case he will have abdomen cramps for days. i might particularly say no and shop the adult males you have.

I would take Team B over Team A... Joe Nathan is a MN god BTW. Then again I did have Peavy last season and he had a good 2nd half...

    Team B is better

I guess it matters how much value a pitcher has in your league. Straight up, it doesn't appear that either person is getting clipped, though team B seems to have the advantage.
