why douse stainless steel not "ark" in a mico wave oven?

    it will,

    your just not trying hard enough.

    the arking or sparking from metal in the microwave has to do with the shape of the metal and the placement in the oven,

    if what you have is designed to go in the microwave then it will not spark, other shapes and placement may spark.

    the math is very complex to see what will happen, but there is nothing special about the stainless.

    Not an engineer but suspect it has to do with lack of iron content. That is why a magnet will not stick to stainless.
