Which band has the definitive twin guitar attack?

Is it the two axe's of K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest? Or maybe the twin harmonies of Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham of Thin Lizzy? Who is YOUR pick for the best dual guitar sound?

1 Tino Troy & Andy Burgess: Praying Mantis

Their twin harmonic Metal Lines are amazing and actually outdo Maiden by a hair.

2 Dave Murray & Adrian Smith: Iron Maiden

What can I say about Maiden, but amazing

3 Mickey Moody & Bernie Marsden: Whitesnake

The best Twin Guitar Blues Rock combo on the Planet

4 Ted Turner & Andy Powell: Wishbone Ash

The Ash's Guitar Melodies are incredible

5 Keith Richards & Mick Taylor: The Rolling Stones

You want to hear their dueling leads at their peak listen to "Get Your Ya Ya's Out"

Being an old schooler, I gotta go with The Allman Brothers guitar duo Duane Allman and Dickey Betts

    Prolly the Judas Priest duo.

Brad Whitford/Joe Perry of Aerosmith are in the mix.

I would have to agree with you on KK and Glenn from Priest, but I think the absolute best Guitar duo of all time is Dave Murray and Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden, they work so well together, and their solos are amazing

I prefer bands like Judas Priest overall, but Cacophony (Jason Becker and Marty Friedman) are really something. They shred like crazy. Really changes my perspective on neo-classical metal. Jason Becker is fairly underrated I believe. And Marty Friedman continued to be great in Megadeth.

im not sure if anyone will agree with me but i gotta say KISS had the best dual guitar sound. Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley were just amazing together. Just listen to Strutter, or Detroit Rock City or Rock And Roll All Night. Those two were just so amazing together.

Definatly Judas priest out of those two.

Iron Maiden would be a good runner up to the priest
