This guy I know likes me a lot. We have always been really close friends. Since he told me he liked me he has been giving me more hugs and txting me more. I told him I didn't want a boyfriend and just wanted to be friends. He was cool with it. Then he said that things wouldn't change very much. When I thought about it we do act like we are going out the only thing that would be different is we would kiss. I don't know what else I can do to let him know that I don't want to be as flirty and close and just friends. Any ideas?

Tell him how you are feeling, tell him you really care for him as a friend but you are just not attracted to him in any way other then that

be more distant
but not cruel
he'll get the hint
only thing is he might ask you whats up with the weird behavior
just tell him the truth.

yeah try and keep your distance with him..dont be with him all the time, that might lead him on. act the way you do with any other guy friends
