Is Obama's claim the he can bring people together undermined by supporters who are unwilling to compromise.
If he can not convince his own supporters to be positive and to get along with Democrats that disagree with them on minor issues, how can he be expected to end the fights in Washington where the differences are large,
Polls have shown that over 20% of Obama supporters will not support Hillary in the fall if she wins. You could also read the nasty answers to this question if you want to know how I got this impression,

He brought Rush Limbaugh over to ask Republicans to vote for Hillary.
Just think about that for a minute.
Rush Limbaugh, asking conservatives, to vote Hillary.

Where do you get this from?
Why are his supporters unable to get along with those who disagree with them?
I think the problem most of his supporters have is when people call them a cult, claim that Obama has no plans (even though it's similar to Hillary's, but oh well), and just fling insults about.
They're no more or less reasonable than anyone else.

We believe in our candidate and his views. Get over it.
edit: hold on, so are you saying that voting for someone (WHETHER it be Clinton or McCain) is NOT compromise, and that staying home on voting day (in november) IS compromise?
Don't think so. Hell, I'm sure that at least 90% of Obama's base doesn't agree on every single issue that he is about, either. And they compromised and chose him anyhow.

I don't want a politician who will compromise to get along, sacrificing smaller principles to maybe win on bigger issues.
I want a politician who has firm uncompromising views and principles. I want him to tell me what they are in his campaign and if I like them and vote for him I want him to be uncompromising in his efforts to put those ideas into pratice.
I get sick of being lied to so as to get my vote, then flim flammed after I helped to get my candidate elected.

You shouldn't use Y!A as your polling place. You don't have any tangible data that says you statements are true. You are just generalising which is very amatuer.
