DId you all start taking these supplements right from the beginning? Anyone started taking after 8 weeks of delivery , did it work? How long do you all pump ( duration per session)

I started drinking Mother's Milk several weeks ago (Yogi Nursing Woman is better...) at the suggestion of my certified lactation consultant.
My daughter is now three months old, and she wants to feed 3+ ounces every 2 hours nowadays.
I started drinking the tea to increase my milk production so I could keep up with my growing daughter, and I gotta tell you--It HAS made a difference. I swear.
I have never tried Fenugreek, though.
I was over eight weeks postpartum when I tried the tea...
I have a Medala Pump in Style electric double pump. It takes me anywhere from 5-10 minutes to do them at the same time. Usually I get about 3-4 ounces out of each one.
Good luck!

are you pumping only? or pumping just to boost your supply?
I haven't taken fenugreek but I've heard that unless you smell like maple syrup, you aren't taking enough.
There are plenty of other things you can do to boost supply as well. Eat a bowl of oatmeal everyday. Have a beer (no more than 2, and not too often) and nurse your baby as much as possible.
Remember the rule of supply and demand. The more milk that is removed from your breast, the more you body will make.
Lastly, pumping is not always an accurate way to find out how much milk you produce. Your baby if far more efficient at removing milk.
hope that helps

right here is the situation. Breast milk comes on a furnish and insist foundation. The extra call for the extra furnish. So, what befell once you probably did no longer pump is that the milk ran out because of the fact there became into not extra furnish. The extra you stimulate your breast extra probably you're to start producing sufficient milk returned. i could advise pumping the two breast a minimum of each 2 hours once you're no longer along with your infant or whilst he's no longer hungry. do no longer complication to lots approximately how lots milk you're pumping on the commencing up yet pay interest to whether or no longer it somewhat is increasing. shop attempting, and make confident your infant is eating from the two breast in the past you furnish him a bottle. i could easily see a lactation representative. And look into the l. a. Leache League. the main needed project is to no longer supply up and to no longer enable your milk to expire thoroughly because of the fact then it somewhat is probable too previous due. i'm hoping you get your milk returned. Now THIS is something I know about.
Whether or not you are producing enough milk, allow the baby to nurse.
Your supply will increase with the demand.
That's what your body is all set up for.
If you are pumping a lot, know that your body isn't going to be fooled, though.
Try only pumping when you are full and cannot nurse.
The supplements are great but not necessary for good milk production.
This will work.
If you have issues, contact the closest LaLeche League and they will help.

supplements didn't work for me very well. i didn't see a big difference in my supply. I drank hot tea right before pumping, if possible. if you want to increase your milk supply try to pump every 2 hrs during the day, 25 minutes per breast. don't forget to completely empty your breasts before bedtime, wake up to pump once at night, AND early morning until your supply will increase. that's what REALLY worked for me. also make sure you use hospital grade pump and do not forget your water.

just let your baby drink as much as possibvle becoz once you shift him to bottle he wont revert back unless after 4-5 months. i regret that i gave him the bottle. just feed him your milk supply will increase autonatically and also have a glass of warm milk before feeding at least twice a day.Best of luck
