My computer has some how been infected with spyware and pop-ups. What free good program can I use to fix this?

Step 1: Make sure that you have an up to date antivirus program. If you don't, install AVG.

Step 2: Visit the Google Pack website, and use it to download Spyware Doctor.

Step 3: Download and install ThreatFire.

Step 4: Make sure to use Mozilla's Firefox from here on out. Also, install the Adblock Plus add-on for it.

Step 5: Make sure that you have a firewall program on your computer. If you don't, install Comodo.

the best anti-spyware i av seen yet is webroot spyware. its lite and really fast plus very effective. first in topten list of above site. u can get all of its features on the site.

these two are the best. first, download superantispyware. then update it. scan with it. then disable its auto start so that it wont start when windows start. then download spybot search and destroy. update it. scan with it. then use the advance mode. click "system internals", then check for system errors. then click fix. these will surely help you.
