key strokes to change the display settings?
I had a user change the display setting on a laptop and now the display doesn’t display anything. It works fine is safe mode. Can anyone tell the key strokes to reset the display settings to the default settings when you can’t see the display? Dell Insprion 8500 w/ Windows XP sp2.

This is a function key plus one other key.
The function key will have Fn on it
The other key will have a little monitor screen on it.
This key is usually F5 or F7 but I have seen others. There are no rules for where the key has to be placed by manufacturer.
Anyway hold down the Fn key then press and release the key with the monitor on it to toggle modes.
