How do I place an animated GIF file in a post for a forum?

I do not want to do an attachment. I want the Gif file displayed under my comments I post.

If the particular forum allows for file display, just put the file there, in whatever way the forum allows (different forums do it different ways). If not, post a link to the file that you've posted on a server somewhere.

Read the forum rules and regulations.

Understand the "do's" and "dont's" or you might get banned.

Colanth is right, forums and boards has their own ways, so keep your eyes open, read the manuals and don't piss your admin and moderator or the user.

It's not a prob for you to place any images or banners as long you stick to the rules.

Then, do precisely comparable to mentioned above as much as the factor the place you save it. make confident the size of the image (easily length on the exhibit screen) is a small element smaller and then save it as a GIF document, as quickly as returned. After this, verify the size of the document to work out how lots it has diminished all the way down to. wish totally this works. good luck! all of the suited, Thorpe
