90's music vs 2000's music?
To me the 90's was the days so many good memories that never can be repeated...to me nothing can beat the good feelings i had during those times...so many great talented artists, the music now isn't even close to the level of the 90's. I feel like old even though I am only 22

ehhh...they both are good and bad
90's rock was good, but the late 90's also had the beginning of boy bands and pop stars (im thinking n'sync and britney spears....UGH!)
but 2000s have had good music if you like heavy rock or alternative music...but rap has gotten really big this decade, and that i am not a fan of

Musician's in the 1990's had greater opportunity to create something original and fresh - without working as hard as today's musician's (2000's) .
On one hand I prefer the music of the 1990's by far for this reason. Music of the 2000's is much more blase' and cookie cutter.
HOWEVER - I've recently come to start respecting how extremely hard it is for today's artists to break from the pack.
So when they do - they do well.
IMHO
I still prefer pre-2000 music most. But there are still some good stuff out there (post-2000) : i.e The Killers, Interpol, White Stripes, 3 Doors Down - to name a few.

Oh guy, 80s all the way. No contest. the initiating of Thrash steel. New Wave of British Heavy steel commencing off. next is the 90s. Early 90s certainly. Then, the 2000s, which in my opinion are a methods from good....yet not precisely poor.

I grew up in the 90's too! Grunge, great rap, and pop! Even fantastic country. I don't think any decade will be able to top the 90's but if you think about......
People 10 years older than us think 80's were the best....
And people 20 years older think the 70s were the best.....
But the oos just haven't done it for me....

try going one more decade back till u get to the 19 freakin 80s!
i agree with you that the music now in the 2000s just plain sucks. Sorry to any of you now music fans but its garbage. You notice in like Rihanna - Dont Stop the Music, she samples off of Michael Jackson (an 80s song) called Wanna be Startin Somethin, and Miley Cyrus...
Dont get me started on that piece of trash. I dont want to keep ranting but just know I am 23 almost 24 and the 80s have awesome music too!
