help with Adobe Premiere?

The absolute best way to learn film editing programs is through experience. If you do not know anything about film editing at all, then you should check out one of those "guided practice" workbooks for Premiere at your public library. Work through that and get used to the interface.

Actually, since Premiere is just an editor, that's pretty much all you need to learn...just the interface (and how the included basic effects work). And there are no tutorials that pertain to a specific scenario and you have to learn how to apply the stuff in tutorials/guidebooks to your given situation with a little bit of imagination.

All of the Adobe programs, are fairly hard to use and believe me i know :-). To get some good tutorials, try adobe.com, and some videos on youtube are very helpful as well. I can provide some good tips however, when making music videos in Adobe Primiere you can run multi-track video and audio, meaning two-three song files or 2-3 video files at one time, by doing this you can keep a song playing, while mixing multiple videos on it, this is why adobe primiere CS3 is seen as a very professional program. I definately sugguest you look on Adobe.com for these tutorials because unless your taking a class on this program, it will be very hard on how to use effects.
