Am I to short to join the army ?

you talk like 5 foot 5 is abnormally short. i dont know about the UK, but the US wouldn't care. i was a paratrooper in the army, a good friend of mine was a rigger and probably about 5'3"

I'm not sure about the answer as I've never been in the military but I read the book "Chicken Hawk" about a Helicopter Pilot who flew in Vietnam and I believe he was about 5 foot 4 or something like that. They had to make special pedals for the chopper. It's a good book if you ever want to read it.
