Poll: Preferred chain "super-bookstore"; Borders, Barnes & Noble, or another?
I'm a Borders man myself. And you?
Thanks!
I forgot about Half Price Books!
I've made some great finds there, but the closest one is in an inconvenient location for me. I don't make it there often enough.

Barnes & Noble or Waldenbooks. B & N has the BEST discounted tables : ) We don't have a Borders nearby, but I've been in one before and they are also a great store. A good place to get cheap books on line is EdwardRHamilton.com...you can get new books with just a dented corner or scratch on the cover or back for almost 60% off.

I like Borders Books best, for several reasons: I get discount coupons on the computer and whenever I buy anything; I find Borders stores all over the USA (the first one I ever saw opened about 4 blocks from my home in San Francisco); they sell some books I have written; they have a great selection of books, magazines and DVD's..

Whenever I go to the States, I visit a Borders store. In Canada we have a book store chain called Chapters... my sister worked at the downtown Montreal store several years ago.

Out of the chain stores I prefer Borders. I really like those little, cluttered, hole-in-the-wall, independently owned bookstores the best though. I could stay in one of those all day.

My nearest Barnes and Noble, has a Starbucks in there and since I love Starbucks, I prefer Barnes !
