Yeah, as a matter of fact, my whole family got cell phones to make up for the loss of the land line. When we disconnected our land line we planned to use that money to get Internet. The only minor problem I have seen in having only cell phones is that you have to make sure you always have it on. I learned this the hard way when I was expecting an important phone call. I had my cell phone on, but didn't bother to check if I still had battery. I missed the call! My phone had died and I didn't even know it! It seems kinda scary, but just get used to making sure you always have your cell phone on and you will be okay!

we havent had a land phone in the last 4 years, we are always on the go. Since it was cheaper to do long distance calls on the cell phone .. the house phone stopped getting used almost all together.

One phone bill ... only way to go!

all I ever had was a cell for a long time

I used it tethered for internet access too it was faster than dialup would be

They finally started offering dsl here so i got a home phone installed

I only use it for dsl and still use my cell as my home phone

The problem with using myland line is it is long distance to everywhere i call .Even to my cell
