What would be the best way to advertise a music opportunity to homeschool students?
I belong to a large mens chorus in Denver Colorado, that ranges in age from 15 to 80 and we are wanting to provide music opportunities for home schooled boys that have an interest in choral music.
What would be the best way to get word out about the opportunity?

Google "Denver homeschool groups" and contact the leaders - they will be more than happy to pass the word along to their members. I would also suggest getting in touch with the CO state homeschool group, as they most likely have a newsletter that goes out monthly or quarterly to their members. I'm right beside you in OK, and our state organization does this, breaking out the opportunities by region.
Homeschooling tends to be a very strong "word of mouth" type of system - it might take a month or two for people to find out, but once they do, you'll likely have some very motivated young men wanting to be involved. :-)
Thanks for opening up your group!

Put something up in a local church -best way to get the word out to the community, word of mouth advertising would follow from people seeing posters- and find local homeschooling groups to advertise in.

Most communities have local homeschool co-ops and groups. There are also online boards too. You could also send press releases to the paper, radio and various churches. You will most likely get some interest there. Sounds like a great thing..good luck!
