What artist(s) outside of your genre of music would you admit is talented but would never buy their CDs?

I agree with you on Christina, her range is amazing!

Carrie Underwood also has a good voice but Country doesn't appeal to me at all.

I'm not a country fan, but I have to admit that the Dixie Chicks are good musicians. I also agree with the comments about Christina Aguillera--great voice, but I really don't like her music.

Christina Aguilera does have a great voice, but her music is just not for me. I listen to more punk rock, metal, alternative rock, etc.

I love watching Shakira and Avril's videos but I wouldn't buy their CD's.

Another great example is NIN. Trent has talent out the ears and Darth's respect but I just do not like Industrial.

After years and years, I have to admit that George Michael is very talented and would be a better fit for Queen than Paul Rodgers, but I would never own a disc by him.

I'm a metal/rock fan and Nelly Furtardo's new album is great, I wouldn't buy her stuff but I got the album of a friend and was surprised at its funky vibe!

I respect for a couple 80s hair bands - Poison and Def Leppard but I could never buy one of their albums.

I also think that Frank Sinatra has a gorgeous voice, but that is WAY off of my musical radar.

Good stuff for other people, just not me.

I agree with you about both the artist you mentioned. I also think Amy Winehouse is wonderfully talented. The girl is screwed up beyond belief, but she can sing! I wouldn't buy one of her CDs though. Not my kind of music.
