94 vortec blazer s-10 hesitates to start unless holding down gas pedal?
when it sits for a little bit it needs gas pumped and then will start....and then after it starts up just fine but other than that it needs to be held down in order for it to start...i think it might just be the fuel filter is clogged...

It could be the fuel injector leaking, when you hold the throttle down fully it puts the fuel system into a clear flood mode to hold back the fuel and allow the engine to catch up and start. A fuel pressure test will answer that question. If the pressure holds steady when the pump stops you have to look elsewhere.

sounds like your running into the typical, pressure fuel regulator, spider fuel injector problem. which are both located under the intake manifold. it will get worse until it will not crank at all unless you pour fuel into the airtake.
