Do you ever get freaked out?

when you really think about that we are on a big spinning ball suspended in the middle of space? I think about that quite often. What makes it stay there besides, of course, gravity? what/who created gravity? What's beyond what we can see with a telescope. I mean, we live our lives day after day assuming that this earth will remain faithful to us with sunrises every morning and sunsets every evening. So many people just take this safe beautiful earth for granted. If it were'nt for God I think the earth would have taken a nose dive many years ago.

Ignore the haters, your question is trippy. The quintessential 'Why?' I've wondered about this quite often too.

I am more freaked out at the idea one of my relatives believe that the book of Revelations could be the reason for this weather we are having, the odd weather. O'my! Being 32, and have not always lived the right kind of life, it's downright scary. All I can is try to live right today, as yesterday is gone, tomorrow not promised. Life shall not be taken for granted. You never know when you'll be gone.

Without God, shoot, forget about the earth: The idea that if there were no set morals, we ALL would have been wiped off the map due to murderers and shoot.

Good seeing you; it's been sooooooo LONG!

Not freaked out really, but in awe. I live in the country where we have a real good view of the stars and the milky way.

I have a cheap telescope and about the farthest thing away that I can see clearly is Jupiter and 4 of its moons. That is an amazing thing to see.

With the naked eye you see what looks like one small point of light, but then see it closer and see 4 individual moons, makes you appreciate the universe and all that is in it.

You can tell that I find the cosmos fascinating by checking out my website. I could not tell you what all the pictures are, but I know most of them.

God is truly an awesome God!

The God and Goddess have been wonderful to us in lending us this beautiful Earth that so many pollute, litter and take for granted. In order to live here, it is nearly impossible to cause no harm (since I am probably displacing animals by living in a house that's taking up their land) but I try not to disturb the balance more than it already is. The gravity thing doesn't really freak me out -- I am more concerned about Bush, global warming and huge meteorites getting to us first.

I never had because it's something you can't see in your normal day routine. The earth has been kind to us considering all the damage we to do it. I don't take nothing for granted. I could be sitting here one minute and be dead with a heart attack! The way people go out of this earth are unspeakable.

Yes actually. Not all the time, but I am one of those people who gets really freaked out if I am out in the middle of nowhere at night and I look up. That is why I don't go camping. It makes me feel so tiny.
