I have an american ps3 console and want to take it to germany,how can i convert the power from 110 to 240v?

I love my ps3 and really want to take it with me but really dont want to blow it up so how can i make sure i put the right voltage into it in america!!

    You can buy a 300 or 400W power converter that will run about $50.

    Older models of the PS3 (20 & 60gb) had universal, self adapting power supplies, so you just needed to buy the cord (available from any computer store). I don't know if the new models use a different power supply; I would assume they haven't, but always err on the side of caution. You'd have to take the PS3 apart to see, or perhaps Sony can tell you if you call them.
