Should I have to pay the repair bill?

I just had my car fix a month ago, now a month later I am having trouble again with my engine. should I have to pay to get it fixed again?

Update:

Sorry

I have a 01 pt cruiser i had the breaks fixed a month ago because the were grinding. now they are grinding again. I had them fixed at my dealership.

Is this a serious question? lol its either badluck,or the mechanic didn't have a clue what he/she was doing.

Depends on whether the new repair actually relates to what happened before, and the character of the mechanic and his shop. In this case, we can't tell at all because you didn't.

A repair can be done and something else go wrong because it was just as old and worn out. A good shop will let you know what's up when doing a repair, like whether your tires are going bald during a brake job, or that a radiator repair won't help a clogged heater core at all. Lots of items are even more closely associated under the hood - but they aren't part of the repair, even though they are part of the system.

    So, what's up?

that is a serious problem !! Dealer shops usually hire Ase certified mechanics but i don't think Ase certified does mean that is a good mechanic!! people can be very good on the books and answering the test question but still don't know any about practicals!!

so i think you are the unlucky one !! usually dealers gives you 6 months guaranty for the changing parts so do not pay again!!

    good luck!!

Just take the car back to them, and explain that you're still having problems with it, just be nice to them and they'll get you fixed up.

IT COULD BE SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. HOW GREAT WOULD IT BE TO REPAIR ONE THING ON A GIVEN APPLIANCE, CAR,ETC. AND GET A GUARANTEE THAT NOTHING WILL EVER BREAK AGAIN?
