itunes skipping?
on my computer, i have windows xp home with all the updates, and the latest versions of itunes and firefox. when i load a page in firefox, it makes itunes skip really bad. i have 768MB of RAM, a 2ghz processor, and i don't have very many other programs running, just itunes, firefox, and AIM. the only way i can get itunes to stop skipping is by setting it to a high priority in the task manager. why does this happen?

There could be a couple of things wrong. One, you still might not have enough RAM. It isn't that much to begin with, and if would also depend on your other programs running. Chances are, that is your problem. Also, your computer could have a virus, though I haven't heard of one attacking iTunes specifically. If you have noticed other problems with your computer, you might want to hire someone to check it out or even run a computer scan. =) Hope that helps.

Check your sources (Firefox, I-Tunes, etc.) for a patch. Check the music section on your Control Panel for some fine tuning. Good Luck.
