Population growth. Problem? Yeah. I will first answer how we can stop it. Frankly, we cannot, unless we force everybody to only have one baby or kill people every time a baby is born. Population growth affects us by increasing demand for products, pushing demand over production, therefor resulting in scarcity. In the future, well, since it is expected that in about 20-25 years the planet's population of Humans will be around 9 Billion(-ish), we will start to run out of food and water, and some poorer countries, maybe like Mexico or another low-class (non-offensive) countries will attack us. This is because: 1] They are hungry and thirsty. 2] What have they got to lose?

Population growth effects a number of things. Every person needs a home, food, clothing, and preferably a job. Whenever there are more people, you need more of those things, so that can affect trading of good between countries, as well as increase outsourcing to countries with an abundance of people without jobs. When there are more people, the whole world consumes more resources and has more difficulty maintaining pollution.

Are you kidding? ever hear of immigration? America is THE country to go to get rich. With another billion people in this world who aren't making any money, they'll all come here.
don't forget trade, inflation, all that other economic stuff that only makes sense half the time. Mostly it's the immigration.

As other countries become more populated, more immigrants come to the US. Therefore there are more illegal immigrants because citizenship is so difficult. This puts a strain on our economy because citizens pay taxes for other people's purchases, who don't pay taxes themselves. It also gives illegal immigrants jobs, so citizens are under-employed. Therefore the individual economy is lower as well.
