Badge Question?

I have been trying to find the regulation in 670-1 about badges. I have both a CIB and EIB, but i was wondering if i could wear my EIB with my Combat Patch instead of my CIB. Please cite the specific paragraph in the regulation or i won't take your response seriously. Thanks!!

Update:

Ok, Its CIB, not CAB. Second, most infantrymen have their CIB but not many have their EIB. i worked very hard to earn my EIB, not saying i didn't to earn my CIB, but the difference is night and day between the two.

Update 2:

ok, i say again, i want the reg. and the paragraph.

The CIB first award supersedes the EIB -- even though they are given for very different things. But I don't know.

I must say though, I have never heard of anyone with a CIB stating a preference for wearing their EIB. In most cases, the CIB is the individual soldiers most valued award.

Why would you want to display your EIB instead of your CIB?

I don'tknow if you are going to find the right answer in the AR. You can have a combat patch, recieved your EIB, and not yet have gotten your CAB. So yes, you can can where your EIB with your combat patch.

Why would you want to wear only your EIB if you have gotten your CAB, though?

your CIB rates higher than your EIB. So you would have to wear your CIB
