How long does a Yahoo mail account have to be idle before its deleted?

Yahoo tells me it is four months but for a fee they will re-activate it.

Edit: I logged on to an old Yahoo account only Saturday and got the four message. For a fee of (I think) $19.95 I could have got Yahoo Plus (or Yahoo Screw A Customer) or whatever it is called and been able to retrieve older messages. I beg to differ with "Special Agent Matt" but top contributors do not mean intelligent contributors.

Yahoo! Mail Accounts are deactivated and removed after four months of no use.

When an account is deactivated, you won't be able to access it, regardless of whether or not email has been received in the account during that time.

And sorry, but Yahoo! can't retrieve any of the information that was formerly stored in it.

With Yahoo! Mail Plus, your email account can never go dormant therefore it can't be removed for inactivity.

i'm having a similar subject. attempt to open the attachments on dissimilar computers and could no longer acquire. I forward the emails to a diverse man or woman with a yahoo account and that they use a similar laptop and that they are waiting to open it. Does all and distinctive have an concept why it incredibly is?????
