if the file is in a .iso format like file.iso which linux downloads do and a lot of dvds then you need a image burner go online and search up img burn and download it and install it, open the iso file that your os is in and burn it to a cd, turn your computer off and restart it and you will get an install screen.

Basically you are trying to upgrade your existing pc with a new OS, that is not a good thing, unless you mean to replace what you are already using. The i386 directory is where you will find a file winnt32.exe, you can run that from a DOS prompt and it will start the installation process of your new OS. ONLY do this if you really want to replace the existing OS on the hard drive. DO NOT run it from within Windows!!!!!!!!!

use a iso imaging burning software such as nero to burn it too a disk . just make sure you first scan the iso with a good antivirus software i have seen many contain trojans and other garbage you do not want on your machine
