Favorite setup for Bass?

reel I use an Abu garcia REVO STX

Rod is a 7 foot medium heavy fenwick

Line is Stren superbraid 8lb diameter with a 6 foot seaguar florocarbon leader.

I guess for a bait I would pick either a bass jig or texas rigged worm

but this is only scratching the surface for bass rigs

what about a pitching rod or a finesse rod

one fishing rod really limits you

Lure - Depends on situation right now I am using either a 7/16 -9/16 oz Peanut butter & Jelly jig with a 4" Yamamoto twin tail grub in Cinnamon Black & Purple Flake.

Line - Depends on situation right now I have 10# Seagar InVizX FlouroCarbon.

Seasons change and so do the rigs as well as the baits.

i like a monster stick with a classic Shakespeare reel. use some 8-10 pound triline extra tough line with a swivle and 2-6 inch top water lures or poppers. you should get a bite almost every cast if you at a good bass spot.

6'6 medium heavy rod. shimano reel with rear drag. berkley power worm, blue fleck. 8-10lb flourocorbon triline. oh, use a black bullet weight. You can fish it all year, even in cold front conditions.
