reinventing yourself (new clothes, hair, hobbies, etc.)

spending a lot of time with your friends

If, after doing all that, he comes to you (free of another woman) and you still want him, so be it.

Don't expect it to be happily-ever-after just yet- you may find that you become 'the other woman'. As far as cheating goes, if he does it WITH you, there's a good chance he'll do it TO you.
