Where you shocked?

you would think that after President Clinton The bar would have been set higher !!!! We the people are to gullible, we believe in the Constitution but obvious our leaders don't!!!

Well I was very surprised....imagine spending that much on just one girl and one evening! The funny thing here I am seeing is no one is talking about it takes two for these actions. The talk always falls on the man...true he is in power in these two instances but if he wasn't he would still be the one catching the heat.

Well, this is like deja vu - like Clinton trying to keep his dirty little secret under the rug, but only admitting to doing it when he got caught; otherwise, he wouldn't have ever admitted he did 'it' with Monica. Now, Spitzer is just reinforcing what kind of slimes we have running the state governments! Heaven only knows how many other dirty politicians are doing the same or similar thing and keeping it under their hats, hoping they don't get caught.

No. We're slowly getting desensitized to this among many other things. We don't expect ethical behavior from politicians anymore. It's very sad really.

The thing that shocked me the most about Clinton is that he left office with a balanced budget and a 68% approval rating.
