If no one signed in for one day it would change things for sure. As to how much? Your guess is as good as mine. My guess is they would promise a lot and blow some smoke, then deliver very little.

What "Right" is stated in our constitution or law that says you have the "right" to protest a violation. I'm sorry. NONE. Free speech only applies to government bodies. Yahoo can do what it pleases. It can delete every question because it has the letter "A" in it if they wanted to. Or they could delete questions at random just to be assholes and they're still within their rights. This is their server, services, company. Unfortunately for us, ToU > constitution when you deal with public forums

It's like trying to do a sickout or boycott...no one really suffers except for the users who go without. I don't think Y!A would care either way...although they might get a kick out of seeing people trying to protest...

I just answered a question and the chick said she reported everybody because she didn't like their answers. What kind of childish crap is that, she is in the wrong place to have thin skin for sure, but you couldn't keep everybody off here for a day their too addicted lol.

everyone would get a violation for protesting and i'm sure someone is bound to sign in, just to see if anyone else has signed in

There are so many that can't live without their multiple accounts and vast pointing that we could never get everyone to co-operate. I know one lady who has a dozen accounts. Thats all she does is answer, day and night. It really is 'funny'

It might make a little bit difference what kind is unknown' as they act like they could care less at times.

I don't think anything would happen. It's not like we pay for usage or anything that would actually take money away YA.

I think it could. But there are too many addicts that would have to sign on, or they would have withdrawl symptoms.
