2006 Nissan Sentra car seat anchors?

I can't find mine! Can someone tell me where they are or if they exist? I looked in my manual and it doesn't really help me.

Great post from the other guy - check it out. Rest assured, they ARE there. They are standard in vehicles model year 2003 and newer, and some 2002 models. However, you can NOT use the lower anchors in the middle of the backseat - when you find them, you'll notice there are 4 lower anchors, 2 for passenger side 2 for driver side rear , you can not use the innermost 2 to put a car seat in the middle, its against the manual. They are located in the seat bight, that's the crack where the seat back and seat bottom meet. If all else fails and you can't find them, call your police station and ask about getting a car seat checked. They will get you set up. Also, if you can't find it, or have trouble using it, or want your seat in the middle, don't panic. LATCH is NOT safer than a good old fashioned seatbelt install. It was invented to be more convenient and universal (it failed, lol, since its varies so much from car to car). Use whichever gives you the best install, which is less than 1" of movement at the beltpath.

Congrat's Your Child Seat mounting instructions are on section 1- Page 21 of your owners manual. Buying modern LATCH system child seats click onto the metal anchors on the botton seat coushions on the outboard seats. If you have problems call and ask your local fire department or where you buy the child seat. Older seats can be secured with ratchet style rear seat belts on that Sentra. By pulling all the way out on the belt it switches to click back in to secure the child seat all detailed in your owners manual if you do not have a owners manual please get one or borrow one to read up on keeping your kids safe.
